Description
This is what I came up with for the first Center Stage challenge.
I decided to upload just the lines because I have been working on them for so long and it feels like I'm never gonna finish the colorization!
The creature I chose is the Basilisk.. he has a cock's head and the body of a serpent.
The feathers and the headpiece are representative of the cock.
A Basilisk can only be killed by his own stare when he is faced with a mirror. This is represented by the circles hanging down from the headpiece.
The lines in this piece was a first for me, because I actually did most of the lines with just the brush tool (except for long lines which I did with paths)
I rather like the outcome and the the varying line thickness.
I do hope the colored version will follow soon.
